Tarqui

Sad day, I left the jungle. I am back in Quito, in Tarqui, Chillogillo. Puyo was hard to leave, we ended the week with an awesome talent show in the branch, everyone came we had it outside and us as the missionaries even made a skit. Great news Gema got baptized, it was perfect and I really know that the Lord is happy with her, Hermana Macias is still working with her sister and her mom in hope that one day they too can enter into the waters of baptism. Leaving Puyo was really quite sad, I really learned to love the people.

Hermana Guevara is my new companion, she is from the south part of Peru almost Chile, she is 21 and has 5 months on the mission. It should be great! I am excited to be here, this is much different than puyo, its city and there are big buildings, super different, from puyo with the native people and eating bugs with our rice. Well I am sure I will have some nice stories about how cold it is here and the lovely hills of Quito next week!

Love you all, say your prayers.
Hermana Merrill:)
