#iloveambato‏

#ithinkiforgothashtagsexsisted
Things this week have been great. I really LOVE it here in Ambato. This week has been busy. We sat in the regisro civil for hours, with Carmen and Alberto, and finally the wedding is Thursday!! My companion locked us out of the house..fun...don't worry I broke the door open, did some damage but somehow it still closes..when we slam it haha. Last but not least Diego got baptized! A little bit about him, he was a reference from a new convert that we invited to church came the first Sunday and has never missed a Sunday since. He is awesome, used to be evangelical and knows a ton of the Bible. Long story short we have been teaching him the past 3 weeks and got baptized on Saturday.  We  made 100 chocolate chip cookies for the baptism with the other missionaries
We have transfers this coming Sunday. I have one more week together with Hermana Coranodo we will get to see the wedding of Carmen and Alberto and there baptism. Mishel will also be baptized this week! I could not be any happier right now in the mission. I feel the hand of the Lord in this work.
Just a few things to think about.... I have been studying the gospels and the life of Christ. All that the savior did for me, all he did for every single person here. but, where is our relationship with the savior today? How much have we thought about the Atonement today? Each time we ponder the Atonement of Christ we perfected, we become closer to the Savior.
Thank you for all your prayers, say your prayers and read your scriptures.
I LOVE YOU ALL
Con amor

9 months

WHAT 9 months half way done, half way to go. WHOO WHOO WHOOT! 9 more months of rice and baptizing pure lamanites. Time flies. I love Ambato. It’s been an awesome week. Started the week with Divisons, on divisons got stopped from immigration they asked for my visa HA that was funny. Nothing like a ton of police on the main road, with the American’s in town.  Then we spent some time in the civil offices getting Carmen and Alberto´s papers ready for their wedding.   And jamming to some new efy music..life just doesn’t get any better.

We have Diego to get baptized this week and Michelle, Carmen and Alberto for the next week. The work is the best here, we are the most baptizing zone in the mission right now. I have seen the most miracles in this sector than ever in my mission. Consecrating myself each day to, teach, act, serve and love the people as Christ would.

Things are really just coming along great here; read your scriptures say your prayers. Be the best you can be, serve people it will bring you the most happiness.

Week 39

So if you counted the mission like a pregnant person, I would be about to pop.
39 weeks here on mish, couldn't be happier in this raining cold strange Ecuador. This week was your typical week of rice and pollo, coming home at night feeling like your about to die from working working teaching contacting all day, and a baptism. Half way into a transfer, things are great here, couldn’t be better. Marcella got baptized on Saturday, it was awesome, she shared her testimony after and quote she had memorized from the Book of Mormon, BAM.
That’s about it for me this week, read your scriptures, say your prayers and serve others.

Baños Conference and Easter

HOWDY HOMMIES
Just another week in the good ole,  Amabato. We had tons going on this week, interviews with President Christensen, lessons lessons and more lessons, tons of rain, Easter in Ecuador and of course Conference.
Where do I beginning....
The Work....
Maricella is going to get baptized Saturday whoo whoo!
The work here is insanely good, so much to be done
Easter.....
So Easter here is a HUGE deal. Friday no one works, there was like one bus for the entire day, and there are just a bunch of parades to act out the death of Christ. People caring crosses and people dress like Christ..it was kind of scary and strange to be honest. Part 2 to the Easter here is called FANESCA. It’s the most horrible dried crunchy FISH soup that’s ever been created in short words ahaha! They ate it all weekend..really helped with all the parasites in my stomach whoo whoo!
Conference...
WAS AMAZING...
There is something about the mission that makes conference so much better, maybe it’s because I’m not falling asleep on the couch, and the miracle of listening to it in English I think helped. I wish I could just put all the notes I have on here, but one thing I loved more than ever was how much it was about the family. Why am I here on a mission? To bring families to the temple; starting with the waters of baptism. I am here for the children, the sons and the daughters that I will one day have. We need to defend the family in these last days. I loved conference, weird to think next April I will be home for conference....
We got on a bus this morning and went off to Baños. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life. This country is amazing; we have so much to be grateful for. I will include tons of Pics.
That is about it for me this week. Be strong, say your prayers, try a little harder to be a little better.
Love you all, you’re in my prayers.
