Transfers

Believe it or not another 6 weeks has come and gone...I am still here in Puyo, sad to say goodbye to Hermana Peralta but my new companion Hermana Noraña is from Peru. She has about 5 months on the mission, and has only been in Quito, so Puyo will be a great change! This past week went fast, I will include some pictures. We had our last zone conference with those from Tena and Baños and made some fish plate with some members. This week we are getting ready for next weeks baptisms and surviving the heat of Puyo. I love it here and will have much more time next week to include more details!
Have a great week..Love you all
say your prayers

Mom I love fish!

I am loving it here in PUYO. I really just love the mission, never felt the spirit so strong, found so much joy and worked so hard in my life.
This week I was studied the story of the savior with the bread and fishes. I really hope everyone can think about the faith we have. Do we have enough faith? What are we doing to strengthen our faith? Do we only have faith when we are missing something? I have found that faith the first principle of the gospel is the first and most important. My faith has strengthened immensely here on the mission, each sector, each transfer, each day. I hope we can all try a little harder to have a more faith in our Savior.
Well on that note, this week has been great; we had a zone conference and are continuing to teach a ton. The conference we had was mainly about the honor we have, and how we will go home. But that’s a good 7 months away so, I´ll think about that around Christmas time. I love President Christensen and his wife they are always so inspiring. This week is the last week of the transfer, so next week you will get a whole new story! Maybe that will be nice for you faithful readers, a little change.
That is really about it for today, say your prayers, be strong and listen to How Firm a Foundation, cause you know how much I love that hymn.
With love....

Poo-Yo

POO-YO yep that’s how you say where I am...well first things first, I went through a 10 month mission crisis this week. I bought an umbrella. Never brought one before this week, I thought I was a strong missionary get a little wet and just use the rain coat Mamma Merrill sent me with. Got here in Puyo where it’s so humid and hot and rains, a rain coat was out of the picture, so i decided it was time to just hide under trees and get wet. Until this week......I was literally like wet bread walking into lessons. Soooooo...I gave in and bought an umbrella. Why? is it such a problem? The Jehovah witnesses that walk around, with umbrellas....officially a JW, and crying inside
Well that was that story....we had a baptism Saturday of Nadia and Kevin. Things went great and do not worry the day of a baptism it was pouring rain so i had my handy dandy umbrella, but still fell out of a taxi, and literally ran into a pole while talking to my companion on the street. I AM LOSING MY MIND and the mission is destroying my body all at the same time haha Well back to the baptism, I am so happy they got baptized, baptisms are always the best days here on the mission. All the diligence, prayers and love I have for the people is rewarding to see them in white.

And a miracle we found this week, The familia Rodriguez, they live in a small pueblo called Vera Cruz about 35 minutes from our house. We went out there to visit some inactive members and bam we found  them. The dad has a son from a different marriage that is on a mission in Bolivia.....yep on a mission!!! The son grew up in a different part of Ecuador and they never joined the church. The enitre family mom dad and three kids are going to get baptized next month. I am so happy to be teaching them, and they have come to church twice now. We are in week 5 of the change I cannot believe it, time is passing so fast. I love love love Hermana Peralta she is one of my favorite companions, we laugh all day long and work perfectly together in the middle of the Jungle.
Well that is about it for this week, if that made any sense at all!!!!!!
LOVE YOU ALL, say your prayers and remember who you are.
