Conference weekend

Conference has got to be one of the best things that happens in a missionaries life. The two days of singing in english and seeing a little glimpse of Utah just gets to me. I watched conference this time in spanish all 4 sessions. Besides the singing of How Firm a Foundation and the shout of of President Monson of Matt 5:16 the quote I loved most and the talk I loved the most was President Erying. His talk about the Holy Ghost. I have learned that here on the mission the spirit it is the most important companion I can have. He said "Only through the Holy Ghost can we see people and events as God Sees them." I can not stress it enough that we should do absollutly nothing to keep us from having the companionship of the Holy Ghost. 

This week has been great we found a new area of our sector. We invited some kids that we knew had inactive parents to church a couple weeks ago they all 4 came and brought there neighbors last sunday. And to make it even better they are going to 5:30seminary every morning and will get baptized at the end of the month. Gema is progressing and reading the Book of Mormon like a machine. This pueblo is doing better than ever. My companion and I are working working and working in the hott jungle. I never thought I would shower 2 times a day, go to bed with wet clothes and wake up dry. Ants have offically attacked our house and never seem to leave. But not just the regular sized ants, we are talking red HUGE jungle ants. but so is our life, i could not be any happier in my life. 

I hope everyone enjoyed conference this weekend and can put the words we heard into practice. I know we have a living prophet today, he leads and guides this church. He is the head of the church, even the church of Jesus Chirst.
