It has been such a
great week. We have taught a ton and worked our butts
off. Our health has been much better, thank goodness! The rain has come, it
rains every afternoon, buckets and buckets.
Our investigators are doing well we found a new investigator on the street
Gaston, he is a teacher and wants us to teach him in English, very strange
he looked like he did not know a lick of English. He came to church Sunday
and we are all set up to teach him this week!!
Our next investigator is the familia Taymayo they are a family of 5 they
have 3 kids one 9 year old daughter, a 2 year old and a 1 year old. The
parents and the 9 year old have a baptism date we are super stoked about.
They are soo sweet the dad even thanked me for my testimony the other
night. I feel at home when I am there the kids are a little crazy and they
are so kind.
We work every day with the less active members; they are a huge focus and
LOVE having us over. One girl came to church on Sunday and hadn’t been in 7
years.
Today our zone went to the waterfall Molinuco. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!! We drove
a good hour or so to get up to the mountain. A huge family owns the trail
area, VERY native Ecuadorians. It felt like I was in a move about the
tribes down here it was CRAZY! The hike to the waterfall took most of the
day, very wet and raining while we were hiking. I was amazed; it put most
of the hikes I have been on to shame. Ecuador is amazing, it was breath
taking!
Some other things we made chocolate chip cookies this
week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HEAVEN, the ovens are so strange here but somehow
we found one to use last night at our ward mission leaders house, we made a
ton for our zone. Every time you eat rice just think of me eating a mountain
of rice every day, literally a mountain. The food here is very bland, not
much flavor.
One thing I wanted to share you as I was reading in Alma 32 this week, is
planting a seed of faith, a good see and true seed.
I miss you.
I love you all, and thank you for the support you give me.
Para Siempre Dios Este Con Vos
