BUENOS TARDES people that I love...
Well it has been quite the week in
Conocoto. The people here are amazing. It is truly a blessing to be in Ecuador.
I have never felt so loved from my father in heaven so much.
It has been a HARD week. Opening an
area and being trained is HARD. We don’t know many of the members. Everyone and
there Uncle Carlos hits on us. But, it just takes some good hard work to pull
us through. We never stop, I love it. We contact and contact all day. We are
teaching a couple of families that are kind of sort of progressing. The
families here are the best, they do everything together, the family is the most
important unit.
My fear of dogs has grown even more
here, there are dogs EVERYWHERE!!!!!! Scary dogs it’s horrible. I am so
thankful for my companion she is the best! We get along so well, I think I
might have a 6 pack from laughing so hard at night. It is such a blessing to
have someone that I love and have pretty much everything in common with.
So let’s talk food, everyone feeds
you all the time. I eat a solid pound of rice every day. Except on Sunday she
made the most amazing spaghetti, it must have been the best thing since sliced
bread this week haha!
Well that’s that, I swear it’s a
miracle I am alive here, people go crazy over my blonde hair. Today we played
soccer all day and eat a huge pizza, I think I will qualify for the world cup
after training with these Latino Elders. I love it, I love this so much,
the joy and peace I feel here is hard to describe. I know how much I am being
watched over.
Thank you for all your emails and
prayers
LOVE YOU ALL
Hermana Merrill:)
Here are some pictures...my comp and I on the roof of our house,
the huge Catholic Church in the middle of this small town, playing soccer this
